Kozhikode also known as Calicut is a city famous for its history, culture and natural beauty. Kozhikode is a gem on the Malabar Coast of India, that blends old with new, delivering a special experience for the people who visit it. Kozhikode holds a significant place in history. Kozhikode Beach

Kozhikode Beach is situated 1km from the city. Sunset is the main attraction of the beach. Another attraction of the beach is the hundred year old lighthouse and two piers opening into the sea. Mananchira

It is located near the Kuthradampuzha river area providing the setting for swimming and adventurous jungle treks. It is located at a distance of 49 km from Kozhikode railway station and at a distance of 42 km from Calicut International Airport.

Tali Temple 

The Tali Temple is one of the most famous temples in Kerala located near Mananchira. Deities Lord Shiva, Lord Krishna and Narasimhamoorthy are worshipped there. The temple has magnificent wood carvings that make its surroundings attractive. The roofs are decorated with intrinsic designs, and the wall paintings are truly mesmerising. Additionally, a notable feature of the temple is the sanctum sanctorum’s walls, which are built in the shape of a chariot. This temple is famous for its seven-day cultural festival called “Revathy Pattathanam,” which takes place during the Malayalam month of “Thulaam” (Mid-October to November). Vayalada Viewpoint

Vayalada is an attractive hilltop spot near Balusseri in the Kozhikode district. It is known as the Gavi of Malabar. The weather is extremely cool with mist, adding beauty to the landscapes.
